On Monday 15th January, we had the pleasure of welcoming an ITV film crew to school where they spent the morning in Year 6 filming a handwriting lesson and conducting an interview on the school’s views on handwriting following recent news around children completing tests on laptops. Mr Mann took one for the team and explained the importance of handwriting and that teaching it is a way to develop other skills and values like presentation, resilience and pride. The Year 6 children were great and the news feature aired 31st January.
