Cyber-Safety Workshop

The children enjoyed a workshop this afternoon led by the cyber-safety team at Avon and Somerset police. It was very engaging and challenged the children to think about keeping personal information safe, choosing strong passwords and what to do if they see something online which upsets them or makes them feel uncomfortable. 

In addition, there were workshops for parents in the morning and afternoon where these objectives were covered:

· To gain a better understanding of the online and cyber risk.

· To learn how to mitigate the threats at home through technical and non-technical measures

· To understand how we can become more cyber aware and support our children in the online and cyber world
