Year 5 Trip to Royal Victoria Park

On Wednesday year 5 walked to the Botanical Gardens in Victoria Park. This trip was linked to their Land of The Rising Sun Theme. Both classes have been learning about the Hanami Festival when people gather to enjoy the beauty of the Cherry Blossom. Children had the opportunity to sketch and draw some of the picturesque scenes in this part of the park. A big thank you to all of the parent helpers.
